Tone is a flamenco dancer, but above all a pedagogue, and a dedicated aficionada with a deep connection to the expression, tradition, and culture of flamenco. She is the heart and mind behind Artesana Flamencoskole.

She has studied flamenco in both Norway and Spain with renowned artists such as Adela Campallo, Farruquito, El Oruco, Jesús Fernández, Úrsula López, Karime Amaya and La Lupi. In addition, she has undertaken several immersive study stays within the flamenco community in Spain.

Over many years, Tone has also specialized in flamencology, the study of flamenco’s history, structure, and expression, which gives her work a strong academic foundation.

As a teacher, she focuses on seeing each student individually, and is known for being patient, detail-oriented, and clear in her instruction. She creates a safe and positive learning environment, while working thoroughly with technique, musicality, and understanding. Her goal is that students not only copy movements, but develop a real understanding of flamenco as structure, tradition, and personal expression.

In 2022, she organized the performance ÍNTIMO at Oslo Konserthus with Farruquito and his ensemble, a production that helped strengthen the presence of flamenco in Norway.

Tone speaks Norwegian, Spanish, and English, and travels regularly to Spain to further develop her work and maintain close contact with the living flamenco community.

Dancer, choreographer and flamenco teacher, she began studying ballet in Norway at the age of 6. In the year 2000 she moved to Chile to discover her roots and there she found the great passion of her life: flamenco! Her adult classes are intensive and she works with the confidence, character and personality of each student. He places a lot of emphasis on technique, but also on understanding the history of flamenco, its palos, cante and guitar.
In 2006 he traveled to Seville, Spain, with the aim of deepening his knowledge of flamenco, and there he received flamenco classes. renowned masters such as Andrés Peña, Isabel Bayón, Ángela Atienza, Manuel Betanzos, Juan de los Reyes, Pilar Ogalla, Antonio Canales and participated in innumerable workshops with, among others, Adela Campallo, Yolanda Heredia, Concha Jareño, Farruquito, El Torombo, Jesús Fernández, Marcos Flores.

When she returned to Chile, she began performing on numerous stages, both in Santiago and in the V region, and also created her own academy, called "Artesana Escuela Flamenca". In 2021, Anahi moved back to Norway, where she has found the need to teach flamenco again. The "Artesana" Flamenco School in Oslo is now a reality!
Anahi is fluent in Norwegian, Spanish and English, has more than 20 years of experience as a flamenco dancer, more than 10 years of teaching experience, and stands out as a teacher for her energy, clarity and charisma, her classes for adults are intensive and she works with the safety, character and personality of each student. She puts a lot of emphasis on technique, but also on understanding the history of flamenco, its styles, singing and the guitar.
